I apologize for not having a movie to write about today. I honestly have not seen ANY movies in the last 2 weeks, which is pretty surprising for me. So instead, I guess I'll give you an update of what's been going on in my life.
My grandpa that has cancer went back to the doctor last Wednesday for another CAT scan. No new growths have appeared, but the one leftover has increased in size from 3/4th of and inch to 2 inches. He started a new type of chemo on Monday and is feeling pretty good. Please keep him in your prayers!
My younger cousin got married this past Saturday. I hate to admit it, but I'm a bit jealous of her. I don't think anyone knows how ready I am to settle down and have kids, so it's hard to be happy for someone else, when I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. But best of luck to her and her hubby.
Still can't make up my mind about what I want to do. I want to go to college, but I don't want to go back to school. Good grief, I went for 13 years! Is it such a big deal that I take a little break? I've been looking into different schools and courses. I don't know. We'll see. If I don't go next year, I think I might get a job a day care.
Ooh. I am getting my tonsils out next month. Woo woo. Call me crazy, but I'm actually excited despite EVERYONE telling me that it hurts like the dickens. I've never had surgery, so this will be interesting to say the least. Wish me luck.
Lastly, I have a new favorite show. My confession of this new love will potentially push me over the hypocrite line but I am strangely OK with that. Grey's Anatomy. I don't know why I was so completely against it before. It is so... terrifical. :) It has everything: drama, comedy, medical stuff, real life situations, and perfect chemistry. The one thing I could do without, and probably why I didn't think twice about it before, is the amount of sex in it. Not liking that, but if I look past it, it's a marvelous show.
I suppose Grey's could be my "Film", but I won't make a habit of using shows rather than movies on Fridays. See you on Tuesday!
